international adjudication. His research

spans various areas of international law,

including human rights, investment law,

and judicial precedent, with numerous

Trade, and Worship of the Argentine Republic.

He currently serves as the Consul General

of the Argentine Republic in Vancouver and is a professor at Simon Fraser University.

His reputation is built on his profound

knowledge of international law and his

commitment to professional excellence in international contexts, particularly noted

for his ability to effectively resolve diplomatic conflicts and his focus on promoting international cooperation.

He holds the Chair in International Dispute Settlement at Leiden University, where he also directs the Master of Advanced Studies in Arbitration and Dispute Settlement. He is a founding partner of DMDB Law in Brussels, with extensive experience as arbitrator, expert, and counsel in international arbitrations, both commercial and investment-related. He has served as presiding arbitrator, co-arbitrator, and sole arbitrator in numerous institutional and ad hoc proceedings. He is the author of over 100 academic publications and seven books on international law. He has collaborated with public institutions and international organizations in training legal professionals. He represents the Belgian Centre

for Arbitration before UNCITRAL and was

awarded the Serge Lazareff Prize by NATO.

He also serves as a visiting professor

at universities in Europe

and Africa.
